Data Recovery from DVDs

By: James Walsh

Next insert the DVD in the DVD drive. Run the ‘do it yourself’ (DIY) software. Generally, the data recovery software does not alter the contents of the DVD. It will merely scan the contents of the DVD and portray it. If you see the files and folders you were looking for, simply click select and save it. If you are not able to view the files you are looking for try the ‘advanced search’ option. Once you recover the data, remember to transfer it onto a different media immediately. It is not advisable to use the software on the DVD every time, for failed DVDs fail repeatedly. Retrieving lost data from a damaged DVD is simple, provided you have the right software. Multitudes of DIY software are available on the internet. Identify good software by ensuring it has the following features:Features of Data Recovery Software

Weather in Rome

This time last year (July 2006), the temperature in Italy was hot, but after the record heat of June 2006, it was not surprising for many. However, August, (the month of the year where 99% of Italian's take their holidays), is supposed to be the hottest month of the year in Italy. Yet, over the last couple of years, (apparently as a result of Global Warming), the increase in temperature of the months June and July has seen a levelling out of the August heat and all three months receiving similar, to equal, record temperatures. This of course, can cause a somewhat adverse effect on tourism and may also lead to other problems for both Italians and foreign residents, including British expats like myself...read more..

The first PC virus was a boot sector virus called (c)Brain, created in 1986 by two brothers, Basit and Amjad Farooq Alvi, Pakistan.
